Prince Cissé, the son of the former Liverpool Striker Djibril Cissé has signed a new long term contract with Liverpool, making an important milestone in his development at Anfield.
The 17 year old was listed among the youth team players offered a new professional contract which is expected to run until 2029. The agreement highlights the club’s confidence in the young prospect, and a signal of the next chapter in his footballing journey.
He has previously made 19 appearance for the youth team, where he featured four times as the U19 captain and even scored on his U21 debut against Tottenham Hotspur.
Prince Cissé Continues the Cissé Legacy at Liverpool
For Liverpool Fans, the Cissé name evokes memories of pace, power, and Unforgettable moments. The former Liverpool forward enjoyed a memorable spell at Anfield after joining from Auxerre in 2004. Now more than two decades later, his son Prince is creating his own story at the club.

When joining the youth academy, Cissé was asked about his ambition at the club, his response: “Short term, I just hope to keep progressing, getting better, keep starting in the U18s and maybe play a few couple U21s game, who knows?
“Then long term, I obviously want to get into the first team. I want to play for Liverpool for the rest of my life, really that’s what I want to do.”
