When there is a conversation about the future of Liverpool’s defence, Conor Bradley will not be left out, as he has displayed real energy from the right back wing since joining the club from the youth team.

Conor Bradley was born on July 9, 2003, in Castlederg, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. At a young age he developed his passion for football while playing for St Patrick’s before making a move to Dungannon Swifts academy.

He officially joined Liverpool’s academy in 2019, a move which represents a major move in his career, as he immediately impress the coaches with his versatility, speed, and strong attacking instincts.

His outstanding performance in the youth team earned so much praise, that in the summer of 2020 Bradley signed his first professional contract for Liverpool, confirming the club’s confidence in his development long term.

Bradley made a loan move to Barry Lewtas U23 in the 2020/2021 season where he scored his first Premier League 2 goal against West Ham United. He was nominated the League 2 player of the season due to his brilliant performance of scoring 3 goals, and delivering 8 assists in just 21 appearance.

The most important period in his development came during his loan spell at Bolton Wanderers in the 2022/2023 season, where he dominated the English league 1 with his ability to defend, and lead intense attacks. He was voted as Bolton Wanderers’ Player of the Year for the 2022/2023 season, and won the Young Player of the Year awards.

After returning to Liverpool ahead of the 2023/2024 season, Bradley signed a new long term contract with the club, which is a sign that he is a major part of the next generation squad. Despite cases of injury, he still showcased an exceptional performance in both domestic and European competitions.

Under the management of Arne Slot, Bradley have delivered a dominant display of energy, and creativity especially during the game against Chelsea FC at Wembley.

At just 22 years old, Conor Bradley have already achieved what many young footballers dream about, as he already has an English league title to his name, yet his journey still feels like it is only beginning.
